Learn from my mistakes
A little over 24 hours ago I wrote a post about Barack Obama. I am stunned at the response I have been getting off-blog. Without going into detail, here are the three most important things I’ve learned as a result:
1. Barack Obama is off limits. The presidential race is merely a formality at this point. He is “the one” and we all better get used to it.
2. Hope is off limits. Aside from worshiping Obama, nothing is more important than hope.
3. Reason is fine - but only within reason. “Within reason” is defined as anything that respects the first two points.
The penalties for violating these rules are severe and those who believe they are charged with enforcing them are not kidding around.
I realize I am taking a chance by this, but those who say we need “change” are wrong. Things have already changed. Unfortunately, I am only now getting the memo. If you haven’t received yours yet, you will.
