Dave Lakhani on Small Business and the Recession

Just a quick note to point you to this must-read post by Dave Lakhani.

If there’s a more important message than this right now, I don’t know what it is.

PS.  One of my favorite lines from the post:

If you want to practice positive thinking, acknowledge what is happening around you and look deeply into it to find advantage or opportunity that you can turn to your favor.

This is exactly in line with the project I’m currently working on.  Maybe great minds do think alike.  I hope.  I hope.

Thanks for this, Blair.  I agree that this is the sort of information that’s useful.

I wanted to stand up and applaud these words: “Small business works because the people in them work. They work because people create products or services that serve a real purpose, that makes someone’s life better in a tangible way or that facilitates business.”

Glad you twittered this.  Thanks!

Hi Blair,

That’s a brilliant article and it mirrors my own thinking, as you and I once discussed (re the Law of Attraction). But it’s his itemized list that is the real eye-opener for me. I’m keeping that as a check list as I continue evaluating in this economy.

Regards,
Bal
