The itch test

I’m getting the itch to start blogging again and just want to make sure everything is up and running before I do.

Hopefully this post will display properly and my RSS feed and Feedburner account are still in sync.  We’ll see.

If you notice anything odd, please let me know.

If all is working properly, I should be back in the saddle soon.

Thanks for letting me know about the site, Robert.  And I agree with you about the art of influence being hypnotic.  In the right hands, it can be truly magical.

Seriously, I was driving down the road yesterday and wondered, aloud even, “I wonder when Blair is going to write something on his blog?”

How’s that for LOA?

Everything looks good.  It’ll be good to read your stuff in snippets longer than 140 characters. grin

I think the only thing missing is some background music.  Maybe some Spinal Tap or KISS.  Whaddya think?

I enjoy writing back and forth about influence.  I am a writer, but write primarily for a trade magazine.  My biggest problem is finding the time to put away the internet correspondance and get to book writing.  I have penned thirteen books, that are primarily research pieces, and maintain a Fast Facts book as an annual, which keeps me pretty busy.  I need to get back into putting out books.  I wrote four magazine articles in the past two months, and one last week.  Big question, is how to get back on the books.  I have two that are partially complete, but can’t find the time or heart to complete.  Hunger is the great motivator.  I guess I’m not hungry enough.  Maybe I have not set my sights high enough, or maybe I’m lazy.  Nah, not lazy.

grin Welcome Back, Blair!  I’ve missed your musings here, as much as I’ve enjoyed your 140 character snippets on Twitter.

Wish I could take the credit for the itching power in the mail, but alas, t’wern’t me what thunk it up.  tongue wink

Looks great. But for some reason the link from the email too forever to load a page (> 1 min) two days in a row. But the site is responsive once I finally see it. *shrug*

As usual I’m showing up late to the party, but I’m glad you’re back to blogging, Blair. I love reading your “Tweets” but am kind of a Twitter ‘tard and still haven’t mastered the knack of joining in on the discussions there. Anyway, welcome back!
