Behind the blog

I love listening to commentary tracks while watching movies on DVD.  Finding out what went into a movie always gives me a greater appreciation for it.

Well, since the stories behind my entries can sometimes be as interesting as the entries themselves, I’ve decided to do something similar.

Starting today, near the bottom of some posts you’ll notice a link that says “Behind the blog”.  Whenever you see this, you can click it and learn more about that particular entry.

Sometimes I’ll post the handwritten notes I used in writing the post.  Sometimes I’ll include some extra details that didn’t make it in the final piece.  You get the idea.

So far, I’ve only added “behind the blog” material to my post called The effort to enlighten everyone.  The story behind this particular post isn’t too exciting, but it did give me a chance to test the site changes I had to make to put this feature in place.  And who knows, maybe some of you will find it interesting.

Let me know what you think of the idea.  Okay?
